Television advertising

 

Television advertising is considered the most effective form of reaching a mass audience. It is estimated that advertising on television is known by 98% of people in Poland. Depending on the desired effect, we use different forms of advertising, so television advertising should be original and interesting to the public. Advertisement broadcasted in prime time is an effective means of promoting. It also shapes the needs and demand and forms specific criteria selection.
 
The main advantages of TV advertising:
 
 
  • Wide range, and therefore the cost of reaching a consumer is lower than other kind of media advertising
  • attracting public attention and impacting on the emotions of potential customers
  • Credibility.

According to J. Kall six main types of commercials can be distinguished
 
  • Demonstration activities – it often leads to comparative advertising. It is a presentation of the effects of the promoted product. Moreover, ease of use is also shown.
  • A piece of life - advertising based on scheme including three elements: problems, solution satisfaction. The solution is of course promoted product that brings satisfaction and contentment.
  • Recommendations – recommendations from famous people, such as movie stars, athletes, experts in various fields, the average user.
  • lifestyle – they not only promote the product, but also the desire to belong to the group
  • Humor – advertisements showing funny situations related to the use of the promoted product.
  • animation - advertising using animation and computer image helps to demonstrate the products regarded as shameful, embarrassing, or technically complex
